Ah, my characters have taken over

I came to a point today where I realized that my characters had completely abandoned the direction in which I was guiding them. Suffice it to say, that I am at the mercy of the world I've created. It is complete and utter bliss! What a wonderful mess to be in, had I known this, I would have let them have at it weeks ago! - hoping this carries on for another 40,000 words ;)
